Yes, even for someone, if only against the "Muscovites"

Ukrainian nationalists "lit up" in many "hot spots."
The participation of Ukrainians in wars in the post-Soviet space after Afghanistan has long been an irrelevant topic.
But now the facts, which have still remained unknown due to certain circumstances, are becoming publicly available. And these facts are already beginning to be discussed at different levels. In order at least to draw conclusions.
Where "noted"
The militants of the UNA-UNSO are ardent nationalists, they have always considered Russia their main enemy and have avenged all past and present offenses that allegedly inflicted on Ukraine as a powerful neighbor.
The ideas of the radicals from the UNSO about the coming full-scale war, which were laughed at in Ukraine 20 years ago, became a reality. Ukraine and Russia do not officially fight, but battles are fought on all fronts - informational, economic, for the territory and for the souls of those who live on them.
It is so established that the degree of "heroism" of Ukrainian nationalists is usually estimated by the number of Russians killed - during the Second World War, in Chechnya, now in the Donbas.
The fact that members of the UNA-UNSO took an active part in almost all armed conflicts on the territory of the former USSR and not only is well known to all.
If you remember where and on which side the members of the UNA-UNSO fought in these wars, you will get complete misunderstandings.
1. The Karabakh war is on the side of Azerbaijan. Orthodox people are fighting on the side of Muslims against Orthodox Armenians.
2. The Transnistrian conflict is on the side of Transnistria, which is puzzling, the Ukrainian nationalists are fighting against the nationalists of Moldova.
3. The Georgian-Abkhaz war is on the side of Georgia, here, on the contrary, Ukrainian nationalists are fighting on the side of nationalist Georgia.
4. The first Chechen war is on the side of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, while the Slavic people, having the same roots, are fighting against the other Slavic people.
5. The war for the independence of Croatia - Ukrainian nationalists are fighting on the side of Catholic Croatia with Orthodox Serbs.
6. Bosnian war - on the side of the Republika Srpska here they are already fighting for the Serbs.
7. The Kosovo war is on the side of the legitimate government of Yugoslavia.
eight. The war in South Ossetia (2008) - on the side of Georgia against the "oppressed" Ossetians.
For me, the actions of the members of the UNA-UNSO in the wars listed above are not amenable to logical thinking, since in some armed conflicts, they are fighting on the side of the so-called “rebels”, whose rights are infringed by nationalists who came to power, and in others they are fighting on the side of the nationalist authorities against such “rebels”. In this connection, a legitimate question arises, what guides the fighters of the UNA-UNSO when choosing on which side to fight them?
But this question remains open.
And here is how they debuted
Unsovtsy began home, in Ukraine, as the ultra-radical wing of Ukrainian nationalists-independent. In the early 1990s, they were sufficiently integrated into the public life of Ukraine, working closely with the “popular Rukh”.
The first steps of the organization were the pogroms of Orthodox churches in Western Ukraine. Even then, the militants paid attention to themselves by the cruelty with which they beat the clergy and parishioners. The next step was the actions in the Crimea, where they tried to push the Crimean Tatars to the "cleansing" of the peninsula from the Russian-speaking.Unable to unleash military action, but working contacts with the Tatar nationalists were established. In 1995, instructors UNSO in secret military camps located in the Crimean mountains, trained Tatar youth.
In 1992, unsovtsy went to the belligerent Transnistria, hoping to turn the unrecognized republic into the main base of the UNA-UNSO. But, no matter how full-time propagandists would then extol the numerous feats of “self-defenders” on the banks of the Dniester, their real contribution was more than modest. Many did not even notice a few dozen militants with chevrons decorated with a “Jerusalem Cross” and a trident, against the backdrop of thousands of Cossacks and volunteers from Russia.
In the same year, the hot lads appeared in the Caucasus. One of the leaders of the organization, Anatoly Lupinos, a criminal who spent 25 years in the camps, through his prison "chum" Jabu Ioseliani, the leader of the Georgian armed forces "Mkhedrioni", organized the dispatch of militants for the war against Abkhazia. And all the expenses for the transfer, armament and payment of mercenaries, Jaba took over.
The Argo detachment was formed from the Unsovians, led by Valeriy Bobrovich, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk UNSO, a former merchant seaman, written off ashore for drunkenness and speculation, but posing as an officer in the Vietnam War.
Abkhaz sources claim that the detachment solved mainly propaganda tasks, demonstrating to the Georgian army that "abroad will help them." Nevertheless, the "Argonauts" managed to light up their participation in the massacres of civilians. Fourteen of the mercenaries received the Order of Vakhtang Gorgasal - the highest award of Georgia. By way of thanks, by the way, they received one of the Mkhedrioni bases in the mountains of Kakheti.
In Chechnya, fought for real
The organization’s first contacts with the Chechen rebels date back to 1993, when Lupinos handed over instructions to the organization of terrorist attacks against the civilian population to Dzhokhar Dudayev’s “scientific circles close to the UNSO”.
Contacts were continued when a number of leaders of the UNSO, led by its then leader, Dmitry Korchinsky arrived in Grozny. Although it was not possible to meet with Dudayev, meetings were held with Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev and Aslan Maskhadov. Korchinsky agreed with the latter that UNSO would recruit air defense and air force specialists in Ukraine.
Ukrainian mercenaries were supposed to receive three thousand dollars a month. To start recruiting, Chechens transferred foreign currency to the account of the Unsovsky Center "Eurasia", which was headed by the current leader of the organization, Andrei Shkil. But the outbreak of war confused plans: the rebel aircraft was destroyed on the ground, and there was no need to talk about any air defense system either.
It is known that at the time of the storming of Grozny by separatists on November 24, 1994, Korchinsky was there, and subsequently took part in interrogations of Russian tankers captured by militants.
After the outbreak of hostilities, the Prometheus detachment was sent to Chechnya, at the expense of Eurasia, the backbone of which was militants trained in Kakheti. According to the Russian special services, the bulk of the Ukrainian mercenaries in the rebellious republic were not "ideological" party extremists, but marginals, a criminal element recruited for participation in hostilities by special structures of the UNSO.
But this contingent went through the procedure of political preparation. As a rule, the combat value of these "soldiers of good luck" left much to be desired, and Chechen employers did not stand on ceremony with them too much.So during the assault of Novogroznensky by federal troops in 1996, five Ukrainian mercenaries were shot by order of Raduyev.
According to the testimony of the captured militants managed to recreate the picture of the death of the unlucky "landsknehtov." When the feds coolly pressed the rebels, the mercenaries "suddenly remembered" that their contract had expired, and came to Raduev for calculation. He said that you first need to pass the machines and ammunition. When the Ukrainians disarmed, he ordered his nukers to withdraw them "at the expense." Such is an instructive story.
Strictly speaking, two categories of Ukrainian “volunteers” in Chechnya can be distinguished. First, these are activists of the UNSO, such as the fighters of “Prometheus”, they mainly solved the tasks of propaganda, showing “the solidarity of the Ukrainian people with the fighting Ichkeria”. Dudayevites were cared for and cared for. The second category is criminals and simply adventurers who rushed into Chechnya for the "long ruble." The militants didn’t stand on ceremony with them - they always thrust themselves into the thick of the water, used them on the dirtiest jobs, forced them to wash clothes, carry weights, and dig fortifications. There are also cases when the “widening Ukrainians” were used as live mine detectors. Their usual fee - a bullet in the head from the "employer".
In the first campaign, the unsovskaya press press heavily advertised the exploits of the Viking squad, headed by the head of the UNOVO of Rovno, Alexander Muzychko. It is said that under the guise of a refugee he penetrated into the disposition of Russian troops, and, volunteering to be a guide, ambushed them. He was introduced to the Ichkerian Order "Hero of the Nation". After he took part in a gangster showdown in Rivne, and was arrested, Maskhadov personally petitioned Kuchma for a “hero”. Muzychko released. Unknown Muzychko killed after the events of the last Maidan.
There is information that Lupinos took part in the development of the Basayev action in Budenovsk, in addition, thanks to his Slavic appearance, the unsovtsy provided some stages of this operation.
Along with direct participation in hostilities, members of UNSO provided Chechen rebels with powerful propaganda support. On the basis of local organizations, UNSO created committees "in support of Chechnya" and information centers "Chechen-press" in major cities of Ukraine. Most of these structures later became legal "roofs" of Chechen criminal communities.
In 1998, Dmitry Korchinsky organized the "Institute of the Caucasus", whose goal was to proclaim "the creation of a broad anti-Russian front" in this region. There is information that Magomed Tagayev’s well-known book, Our Struggle, or the Insurgent Army of Islam, was written by the specialists of this “institute”. Wahhabi literature, published by this organization, still comes to the Volga regions, where Muslims constitute a significant part of the population, and also spreads among the diasporas of Moscow and St. Petersburg, are delivered to Central Asia. The Caucasus Institute and the Eurasia Center closely cooperate with the Movladi Udugov Center and the Vainakhs Congress, Ruslan Akayev, who controls the activities of the Chechen communities in Europe.
And continue in the same vein
To this day, the UNSO has considerable weight in the Ukrainian establishment. For example, a member of the UNA was Leonid Kuchma’s adviser on the social protection of servicemen, the chairman of the All-Ukrainian "Fatherland" association, Major General Vilen Martirosyan. The organization’s great support is provided by the Ukrainian Samosvyatsky "patriarch" Filaret, who achieved the registration of the UNA - UNSO, with which she was charged for extremism. The officers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also had serious ties with the officers. For a long time, the Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commission was headed by the former leader of the UNA, Oleg Vitovic. Unsovtsy seek contacts with extremist organizations in Russia.
The attempt to “make friends” with the RNE failed — the Barkashovists refused any “consultations” with the UNSO. But they managed to establish cooperation with a certain Alexander Ivanov-Sukharevsky, a failed filmmaker and the leader of the “People’s National Party” (whose emblem is also the “Jerusalem” cross). According to media reports, a couple of years ago, according to the idea of Korchinsky and Udugov, Sukharevsky was going to head the Russian Liberation Army (ROA- !?) in Chechnya, which the Slavs were fighting to make up the rebels.
In addition, the UNA-UNSO is trying to create its own cells in the Stavropol region, in the Kuban, in the Rostov region. Through the underground Greek-Catholic order, the UNSO interacts with the intelligence structures of the Vatican, contacts the Italian Red Brigade leader Pietro Danuzo, and also (according to Korchinsky) the Masonic Lodge P-2.
From the mid-1990s, contacts were established with the Algerian fundamentalists, the IRA, the American and German neo-Nazis, and the South African Iron Guard.Interviews with the leaders of these organizations, analysis of their activities, "exchange of experience" filled the pages of unsovsky newspapers and magazines. It is curious that almost simultaneously, the UNSO established contacts with the "Kurdistan Workers Party" and the Turkish "Gray Wolves". Through the Turks, they went to Hekmatyar’s Afghan mojaheds, and even offered them to create an “Injured International”, into which terrorist organizations from all over the world were supposed to enter, but did not meet the “understanding”. There is evidence that through Udugov and Yandarbiyev contact was made with the Taliban.
The organization has its own secret structure - the ONS (Ukrainian nationalist union) - a kind of "inner circle of initiates" - the Paramason order with its initiations and other rituals. Its members are almost the entire leadership of the UNA - UNSO. Members of the union give a "terrible oath", and there is no way out.
It is curious that all of their "secret structures" and relations with terrorist organizations, the Unsovites have been intensifying their advertisements. Already a reason to smile. But, you must admit that this is a rather strange behavior, to put it mildly, for those who are going to lead the terrorist "International offended".
However, this publicity has its own reasons.Almost from its inception, the UNA-UNSO got into the development of a number of intelligence organizations of the Western bloc, including the US CIA. Thus, the Russian special services have information that the participation of UNSO militants in the riots organized by the Belarusian opposition in Minsk was paid from a special fund created by Western “sponsors” to overthrow Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
But these contacts, oddly enough, are not advertised. Along with this, comparing the real affairs of the UNSO with the noise it makes around each of its actions, one can come to the idea that the leaders of the organization are not so much interested in the final result of the event as in self-advertisement, the opportunity to “light up.
Actually, this is, according to experts from the competent departments, the main goal of this organization is to constantly demonstrate hatred for the “Moskals”, allegedly inherent to all Ukrainians, and so that more Russians would know about it. A better way than the participation of Ukrainians for ideological reasons in the hostilities against Russia is not to be found.
For what? For the formation of anti-Ukrainian sentiment in Russia, thus counteracting the inevitable rapprochement of two fraternal peoples.
In addition, the UNA-UNSO has sufficient potential for organizing large-scale provocations in the Crimea or in Central Ukraine, which may serve as a pretext for a “humanitarian” intervention under the Bosnian variant if the Russian-Ukrainian integration processes “go too far”.
PS It is not surprising that today the younger generation of Ukrainian nationalists takes the side of ISIS militants in the Syrian conflict and until recently the terrorists' victories clapped, and there is still a street named after Dzhokhar Dudayev in Lviv.
