Little children do not hear your voice
Small children do not hear their own voice, at least as adults do. This statement was made by scientists from the Technological University of Denmark.
The experts compared the language abilities of adults, four-year-olds and two-year-olds. It turned out that even the smallest children can talk for hours, but this has nothing to do with the development of speech skills, since at this age they do not hear their own voice.

The experiment helped them to come to such conclusions. Each group of subjects was asked 50 times to repeat the word "bed" (bed). After everyone pronounced the right word 20 times, the scientists gave everyone to listen to their own voice in the recording, but before that the record was slightly distorted - so that another word came out (bad or bid).
Adults and children of 4 years immediately began to adjust their pronunciation, to get the right word. But 2-year-old kids - no.
Thus, scientists have concluded that two-year-old crumbs do not follow their voice to correct errors in speech. But the kids immediately react to deviations from the norm in the speech of others. That is why the peanuts in the period of development of speech skills is very important to communicate with adults as often as possible.
