Psychopaths - who they are, and how to communicate with them
A mad look and a conversation with yourself - all this is characteristic of the characters in the films. It does not help identify the psychopath in real life. The following indicators will help better show who is crazy:
- Personality imbalance and affective behavior.
- Lack of empathy.
- They are prone to imaginary artistry and energy.
- The need for strong emotions.
At first glance, the "iron" property of the psychopath is the inability to communicate and empathize. Because of this, many people confuse a psychopath with a sociopath. However, sociopathy is an acquired personality trait.
According to the scientific department of the BBC, psychopaths can arbitrarily “include” empathy. It was believed that a typical psychopath is a person with a tendency to pathological rejection of the pain of others. But a study published in the journal Brain proves that such people can be taught empathy. They are prone to arbitrary manifestation or non-manifestation of sympathy.Christian Keizers of the University of Groningen, who led the study, is confident that the results will help in the adaptation of psychopaths.
