Crusts in the nose - symptoms and treatment
Crusts in the nose can be independentphenomenon, and may be a sign of disease of the lake. Other of its features include a pronounced atrophy of the nasal mucosa and an unpleasant odor with the integrity of the core of the nose and mucous membrane.
The main role in the occurrence of this diseaseplays a nervous system - a violation of its trophic function. At an early age, due to various infections and repeated inflammatory processes, the nervous trophism changes - in other words, more pronounced trophic changes appear in the nose that lead to a disease such as crusts in the nose.
Symptoms of ozena in children
Children often complain about "pawning" the nose,However, they do not feel a specific smell. Although the latter is so unpleasant that you can immediately recognize the person who is ill. As a rule, this smell is most clearly felt in the morning, after the child has woken up, but after blowing (when the crusts in the nose go away) either it is felt much less, or temporarily not felt at all. The feeling of "pawning" can be explained by the fact that because of the atrophy of the nasal mucosa, patients practically do not feel the passage of air through the nose. The smell is not felt due to the fact that the olfactory area is affected due to the atrophic process. People who are sick with ozoi, almost never suffer from acute forms of the common cold. Of the remaining symptoms, in addition to the unpleasant odor, you can distinguish the shape of the nose (a wide saddle shape).
Recognize this disease can be based onon four signs: crusts in the nose, atrophy, unpleasant odor and the integrity of the nasal mucosa. Due to the last symptom, it is possible to distinguish a real lake from an accompanying, for example, tuberculosis and syphilitic infection. In most cases, with these diseases, integrity is violated.
Crusts in the nose of a child can be cured in four ways:
General treatment:transfusion of canned blood together with aeroionization, autohemotherapy, vaccine therapy and proteinotherapy.
In addition, injections of an extract of an aloe are applied (on 1 ml every day) - the general or common dose for a full course makes 30 ml.
Treatment is local:softening of crusts followed by removal,The use of irritants in order to induce an improved secretory function of the mucosa. Also, the nasal cavity is sprayed using a 1% solution of nicotinic acid or an alkaline solution.
Surgical treatment:as a rule, surgical methods are based onstrong irritation of the mucous membrane and its nerve receptors, as well as in the reduction of nasal cavities (because in the narrowed and reduced nasal cavities the amount of accumulated crusts is much less).
Treatment with folk remedies:
- Dried sea kale must be ground incoffee grinder until powder is obtained. Every day, breathe in the resulting powder with your nose. Accordingly, the powder should be inhaled very carefully, to avoid getting small particles into the bronchi. Crusts in the nose, the treatment of which will occur in this manner, will disappear in a short time.
- It is necessary to boil a couple of medium untreatedpotato. Wait until the tubers are warm and put them to the nose. Keep the tubers until completely cool. To fix the effect after the procedure, it is advisable to rinse the nasal passages with soda.
- It should be every day to dig in the nose of wild rose oil or sea-buckthorn. It is better to alternate the used preparations - so you can avoid softening the crust and unpleasant odor.
